We’re so excited to have Hurray for the Riff Raff as part of this year’s Throwdown!

"The dark Americana band is led by Alynda Lee Segarra, a young, Bronx-raised Puerto Rican who developed her musical voice by riding the rails as a teenage punk before settling down in New Orleans. With inspirations that range from Woody Guthrie to Bikini Kill, Segarra brings real worldliness to these songs; it shouldn’t be long before everybody knows her name." - KEXP

American Aquarium will be joining the party on 9/6!  This Raleigh, NC outfit has been hitting the road very hard in support of their excellent album  BURN.FLICKER.DIE.

"There’s nothing new about what American Aquarium do; it’s the way that they do it that makes BURN.FLICKER.DIE so damn good. Singer BJ Barham has an ageless, world-weary/angry voice and the guitar licks he exchanges with Ryan Johnson are as good as anything I’ve heard in 20 years. Plus, Whit Wright’s pedal steel will bring a tear to a glass eye if he’s not careful.” - No Depression

Make sure you get to the show early, you won’t want to miss these guys!
